i really wish i shot more then 1 deer this year....I mostly duck and goose hunted so i had limited time...next season im going to hopefully drop 2-3...im almost out of meat from the 1 doe i shot this year!

AND time almost out of duck! AHH only about 10-15 breats left!

I eat it too much!

Now that I have a kid that is too young to hunt, I have to split up the time so deer hunting time has taken a hit too. I spent the last 2 fall seasons bird hunting instead of bow hunting and only hunting deer during 6 day and NY rifle season. Time,money have been making it hard to hit all seasons with any force the past few years.. I want to get back into ducks and fly fishing again but again the time/money thing will probably force me to pick a few specific things to go after again this year..

I make my four bean venison chili with jalapeno cornbread.

Venison backstraps, smoked, with horseradish sauce
Venison salami, with gargonzola cheese and crackers
Grilled duck breasts, with mushrooms
Goose parm, with penne in red pepper sauce
Goose stew, with italian bread
Smoked goose, with horseradish sauce
Squirrel with peppers and onions, over rice
Fillet minon over toasted bread with garlic butter

Party starts at 12, meals are at 1 and 5:30
