GG enjoys putting pics out that are entertaining but definatly not disrespectful. Anyone that would question his "Character" or question his respect for wildlife simply has never met the man and has no idea what the hell they are talking about!
I have and I will say you will not meet many people in NJ or anywhere else for that matter with as much knowledge of the outdoors and respect for the quarry they take! His mentors in the outdoors are some local legends. I know some of them also. His original message was quite clear. To educate the non trapping hunters of this site that snaring animals the correct way can be done without harm or excessive stress to the animal. He did it in an entertaining way. Seems to me that these pics are trapping related and that is why they get so much attention. Dam shame!! This site would be lost without the educational posts from some of the "masters" we are lucky to have as members.

And when it comes to trapping, there's a lot of education that needs to be done, on this site and in the general public. It amazes me even among hunters how little is actually known about it.

So it's apparent that the
Monroeville of south jersey, united bowhunters of nj,
nj fur harvesters,Drop Tine Outdoor Realities Field Staff and all white trash ******** won't support the NJOA because a staff member was asked to make a personal comment.

If it wasn't for a few people who have a vendetta against the NJOA or the NJSFSC
( Why not throw that hat in the ring too)
like the Anti's have, making this thread into a NJOA commercial was not our (NJOA)idea.
Yes, the 100% volunteer unpaid NJOA is always looking for Donations, Why not?
We are also looking for more volunteers too, but I didn't say that!

The NJOA will never see a dime of mine... i never did like what they stand for... if they had there way i would be out of a job and homeless ...go ahead you guys keep throwing money at them maybe you can help put another working man out of work[down]

Do you understand what NJOA has accomplished in its short history? Do you understand that it takes money to accomplish these things?
Do you know that it is made up of volunteers?

Lord knows I've disagreed with Ant a few times but, since he's taken a hit from some here I think there's something you should know. When NJOA was in the exploratory stages, before there was a even a name, trappers were not included in the discussion. This was at a time when Corzine had been elected, the bear hunt had been cancelled and bills were pending to “ban freshwater fishing and hunting for the purposes recreation and food”. The anti’s were gaining ground and the future didn’t look bright.

Some didn’t think trappers should be included because there were too many bigger issues facing the hunting and fishing communities. It was Ant who said “What about trappers, they should be included”. And so they were.

There is something else trappers should think about. There’s a new bullseye on your backs. Look at the minutes from the December Fish and Game Council meeting:

“Ms. Piszar next referenced the beaver and otter season. She said that she had read that many are killed by drowning, and referenced the American Veterinary Medical Association information which states that drowning is not acceptable or humane.”

You think these people are going to stop at beaver and otter drowning? They're not because they’re losing on deer and bear hunting and I can assure you they are going to come after trapping. I expect there will new legislation introduced within the next 6 months. I personally took no offence to any trapping pictures or posts but as I was viewing some of them I was sure they would end up on a legislator’s desk. (none of them were GG’s)

What happened to the trolls that were following the trapping threads asking stupid questions like “do you eat them”? They got what they came for and left. There are bumps in the road ahead and the NJ Trappers Association is going to busy. You can bet NJOA will have their back.

By working with all outdoorsmen and women, NJOA has accomplished more than any organization could have on its own.

On this thread you have hear from members of UBNJ, NJSFSC, NJTA and NJOA. These are the people who are on the front lines, attending meetings and sitting across the table from our legislators. All of them agree with the original post. They understand what Benjamin Franklin meant when he said;

"We must all hang together, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately."

I bailed out in the early stages of NJOA’s planning because I could see this coming. I’d be damned if I was going to volunteer countless hours and spend my family’s money advocating for our right to hunt, fish and trap only to be vilified by some uninformed idiot for doing it. I’m grateful others saw it differently.

Huntsman, don't think I didn't support them until the past couple weeks. I gave hour to the pig roast and I helped raise money for them. But after this I will give nothing. I was warned about some of them from guys down south and I didn't listen but now I see I should have.

Just the fact that this thread is still going proves my point....

The reason for the pictures in the first place was to ENTERTAIN. It was in an attempt to bring a little humor to this site.

We are always fighting and it is getting old !!!

I stated that I would no longer post any distasteful pictures ..What more do you want ????

You just want to continue to bitch and complain and fight amongst yourselves!

Don't you think it's time for the fighting to stop.


For me...I'm going Predator hunting.It's gonna be a great night for it....Storm is coming and the critters will be on the move looking to fill their bellies.

Life's short...enjoy it !

Mike is right he isn't going to post more pics there is no need for the arguments to continue lets just drop this crap and allow this thread to die,and hopefully be removed.

i see a guy compares hunting fishing and trapping to humans, his post stays mine gets deleted when i responded..man the censorship is getting out of hand
