There are some crazy people around me that reenact midevil times battles in a park. They've got these wooden swords, axes and shields and they "battle". It's the funniest thing because they do it in this field right next to the soccer fields and a frisbee golf course. It causes hysterical laughter all day. I must video tape it someday.

Sent you a PM. My brother is big on that. A hunter as well. 6th Mass. I believe, but based in NJ. Good guys, do events all over the east coast and spend a LOT of time in Gettysburg. My bro also does fife and drum corps, marched in Saint Pats parade in NYC.

They also have a private encampment here in Hunterdon County on one of the guys farm in the winter. Do a lot of shooting during the day, musket, small arms, like Navy Colts, small artillery cannons, and the occasional AR-15. At night Bluegrass period music around the fire with plenty of food, and more then ample drink. Lots of cool stuff to check out members bring. I get invited every year because I'm a picker and my brother is member. Good hardworking kind of guys.

Farbies are welcome.[smirk]

Great crew who really do a lot of events, meet often to drill and are fun. A few of them are also WWII re-enactors as well.

PM me if interested and I'll hook you up with my brother. They are always looking for new recruits. they been at me for years but I spend my summers on the water, fishing pole, margarita.
