I have been looking thru the web at boats and locations. I found some pretty good deals. Who would be interested in a going on a spring striper trip?

Most boats i have found, that look good, either host 6-12 people, prices ranging from $700-$1,000, depending on how many people go. These boats are charter boats, and NOT PARTY boats!!!

Check out the Mi-Jo or The Little Hawk out of AH.

930 The Little Hawk is hard to charter he only takes exclusive clients.
Check with the Lucky Charm, just tell him you know Tony the Cuban. They are good and they know their fishing.

I was on the trip that got cancelled due to weather. Would go again if you get a group together. Spring trips are not affected by bad weather as much as fall fishing. Can be hard to figure out what the water temp. will be before the stripers make their run. Captain hopefully will have a good estimate on this. Last year the water temps. were so crazy. They were recording 80 degrees way off shore.

119 are you talking about last years trip that I put together. I had the Lucky Charm charter for that trip. It shows what a good Captain is. He rather give back the money then take out a charter on bad weather. That is why you have to be carefull on who you charter. Another Captain might of taken the charter out and ended up with a misserable trip, that nobody would of have enjoy.

ElJefe, that's me. Lucky Charm is a great boat. Can look at that boat again. Been out in really bad weather and fishing on the rail left bruises the next day. Not what I would call fun. Spring is usually calmer seas. Striper trips are awesome![up]

119 i would help you out if you need the help. But I will be to busy out there every day when the run starts. Just give me a shout and I will help you out.

Tony

Sounds great el jefe. I usually go surf fishing from Sandy Hook and then down to BayHead. Manasquan Inlet is great also, they built a new bath house and shower area. Caught a cooler of blues in the early fall last year form the north jetty. About 5-8 lbs ea.
