Not a bad thing just very frustrating night. Got in the woods 2 oclock a little late but better than nothin with my muzzleloader. We have recorded about 5 decent successful hunts and I was trying to shoot my first deer with my muzzleloader for some reason nothing ever works out with it lol I have missed 3 times the gun is a tc omega and is deadly at 100 yards. With the shotgun I have not missed since I was 10 and have taken about 15-20 deer with SG. Were set up in a ground burlap blind and we spot the first deer at 330 very early for this spot usually they come out around 5 the deer never comes in figures. About 25 minutes later on the ridge infront of us theres about 12 does grazing about 75 yards away. One comes down and smells the trail I walekd in on figures she runs back up I go you on em nope ofourse I have a clean shot and he cant get em in the camera. They walk across the top of the ridge nopw there on his side of the blind and I cant shoot and hes like pick one and im like I cant even see them. Then they kept playing hide and seek in a thicket Im on em are you nope lol over and over again. This went on till 5 oclock. All in all fun night lots of deer good footage but just a mess could not get the job done Will be out tommorow putting the muzzy away and taking out the shotgun or bow. Thanks for listening lol

yeah rightthey were probably hung over funny I have shot 3 deer this year Im not in dieard need of the meat was making a video for my grandpa who is no longer able to hunt. when we have enough meat thats what we do I hunt with my uncle because like i said were not in dieard need of the meat we still have a month and a half left. Go bust someone elses balls and x7 no need for idiotic questions like that.

thank you chris n and fishguy

man it must be the tc omega...every time i take her out things just dont seem to go right...i have yet to shoot at a deer with it yet tho, dead on at 100 yds at the range, but we'll see how she does in the woods soon (hopefully).....at least you got out and had some fun, ive been at work all day...but im going out for the evening hunt tommorrow, so maybe that will be my time....thats nice of you to video for your grandpa so he can still enjoy the hunt....good luck and remember its all about having fun...[up]

sounds like me your trying to get a kill on camera..nothing wrong with that..but iam sure if a big buck came in you would have taken the shoot..anyone you reads your post should be able to understand that..unless the've been hitting the moonshine...hold on...ok never mind ,its still here.

led? its a saying that im sure youve heard but you like to bust ball i see. A whopping 3 squirrels thats a freezer filler you prob dont hunt deer because you cant sit still or just dont know how. So please there was no need to comment on my post in the first place and bash it. ill shoot my deer and you shoot your squirrels have fun.

I don't hunt to fill my freezer. I hunt to enjoy the outdoors and for what I like to eat the most, and nothing tastes better than squirrel.

Junior...I can't even begin to recall a quarter of the deer I've killed over the decades. I've lost my taste for venison. Past few years I've been happy with one small one with the bow and another small one with the flintlock. I keep the backstraps and give the rest away to family and friends.

Last one this year.

Filming is tough but rewarding so keep at it and it will happen sooner or later[up][up][up] Your grandpa will really enjoy it[up][up][up][up]

SS!

I was thinking the same...concentrate on hunting and harvesting a nice deer and not so much on whether you get it on video or not. Really, sit back and enjoy the hunt and the videos will come in due time.

Here's one for ya, how long before the state imposes a $2.00 license fee for taping a hunt?!

I could defenitly get into filming my and my hunting partners hunts. I may venture into that next fall. Good luck and keep at it [up]
