I have made so much vension jerky this year already...I love the stuff. I usually eat it at lunch time instead of going out to lunch. I used my ground vension with a jerky shooter and lay the strips right onto my dehydrator trays with some seasoning and sugar meat cure. Cook them for about 3-4 hours and I have 5 lbs of jerky!....Love it!
 
I just made 3lbs. last week and I've already gone through a pound and a half just between me and my son. I use the oven set on 200 for about an hour and 15 minutes with the door open just a crack. When it's done, I keep it stored in a plastic container in the fridge.
