I was looking for binos for under $200. That's my budget, yes I know if I pay more I'll get more but what I would like help in is glass at this price range.
I was at Cabelas today. They had their outfitter series on sale from 599.99 to 329. little more than you wanted to pay but pretty good ones.

Finally ... anyone saying anything other than a Zeiss or Leica is as good or better than a Swarovski is talking through their butt. You may LIKE it better, but it isn't better.

I would be willing to wager if you put both pair of binoculars on a tripod and covered them so you couldnt tell the brand except in almost absolute darkness you cant tell the difference.
I LOVE my Swarovski 8-30 and shot many tourneys where it was vital seeing an arrow shaft in the spot at 80 yards,
and the cannons are JUST as clear, and thats a side by side comparison.
My binocs are used hard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and if you REALLY want to see how good Cannon glass is check out their Image stab binocs,
you will be surprised what your missing due to hand shake .
you can read the newspaper with them when you cant even see the print with reg glasses

.

I just read some bad reviews on both cabelas and BPS. both complaining about grease on the lens and breaking the lens while trying to clean and also fog.

HMM, I am leaning towards the BPS brand they seam to be a real bang for the buck.

B&H PHOTO is an outstanding supplier and can be trusted implicitly.
Thank you. This is very gratifying and much appreciated.

I own both Leica and Swrarovski 8x32. They're different, like a Stratocaster and a Les Paul, but I'd be hard-pressed to say one's better, per se.

I made my decision and ordered the Acadia fro leupold.

I just got them today. The reason I got it at bass pro is because I had an $100 gift card.

Cant do much of a review on them yet but I can tell you the optics are great I was outside just now and the little but of light I had was more than enough to get a good sight. They handle well my only complaint is that the lens cap is supper cheepo and wont stay on. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase so far. Can't wait to test them on the field this week.

Thanks to all who replied!
