why is that everytime a bowhunter says something bad about gun hunters he gets bashed but when other gun hunters say something everyone agrees with them. Why is it that gun season has been going for two days and every post has something bad to say about tresspassing or stupid sh-t. bow season has been going for 3 months now and there where a few problems but wow no wonder gun hunters have such a bad rep. All I can say is I am glad I have 3 months to myself and dont have do deal with all this crap. If guys where that worried about killing deer you would think they would spend more then 6 days a yr hunting.
Gun hunters have a bad name.

I am BOTH a Bow and a Gun Hunter and equally passionate about each method of hunting. You will have good and bad in any group of society and truely can not classify either as completely good or completely bad. The best we can do as hunters, regardless of the method we choose to harvest our game is to ALWAYS put our best foot forward in the hopes the the majority of the good will outshine the minority of the bad, and I have all of the confidence in the world that if we do this, we will outshine the bad among us and prevail

Sorry guys but,he is right .I think he is talking about the guys who just dusted off their hunting gear and expect to shoot a buck in just a couple of hours and then go to breakfast!!!
I hunt with both weapons as well. It all starts with education. We need to do a better job to teach the young hunters coming up through the ranks to respect other hunters and what is ethical and what is not. Just because it is legal doesn't always make it right.
There was a ton of theft posts on here during bow season and I think there is a good amount of tresspassing. But as someone said guys are in camo and the weapons do not make noise. Add triple the amount of people out this week and complaints go way up.
We need to work together to change this behavoir in all seasons in the future!

Thats the whole problem they been taught by bad hunters..or never taught the right way to hunt and respect their fellow hunter.
iam proud to say my dad taught me right since i was 14...never had any trouble with other hunters...dont shoot at everything that moves,,dont believe in "brown its down" just shows your inexperience to hunting...and when making drives ,show safty at all times...again alot of bad apples giving gun hunters like myself that been hunting along time a bad name.

wait till the gun numbers come in! I checked all the clubs tonight and Turkey Swamp and Ozark are running neck and neck about what they did last year, well I think Ozark may be around 5 less than last year, but 4F had 4 and a yote(yeah), Woodruff had 1 and 7 buck a big goose egg! I can hear the train a coming!
