my F250 had it's rear fluid changed 4 weeks ago, around 2 weeks ago I feel a weird studder when I slowly accerate aoround 50 mph. It feels like I'm going over small speed bumps. is there a special type of rear fluid for diff trucks? will that make the truck studder like this?

that could be alot of things, low,or worn trans fluid,an 02 sensor starting to go bad.clogging fuel filter(not sure if they are in the tank or outside of the tank) a universal joint . get it to a reliable shop to take a look at it. By chance did it set a check engine light?

do you hear the truck making a whining sound around those speeds? I would check the rear drive shaft univeral joints.

could be tran but it doesnt really sound like it. how many miles on the truck and do you go in the woods with it alot?

usually a bad rear makes more clicking noises and stuters (teeth not lining up correctly) durring slower speeds and makes a whining noise at higher speeds.

check the universial joints, for mud in the tires (would throw the weight balance off) and have your mechanic check it out. 2002? tranny problems should throw a code, sometimes this will trip the dash light but other times it will not. Codes have been retrieved with good code scanners before when no light lit on the dash.

good luck...

Thats what i was just gonna say greenhead out of balance or bent i've seen that a time or 12 always drove lifted fords

I believe there is a special lube oil for Ford limited slip differentials.

PM Arrowfinger on this he is a mechanic.

Who did the work?? Get it back there!!! You drove the truck in with out that problem and now he gave it to you with a problem. Might be as easy as rotating the drive shaft 180 deg. But he deff. did something wrong. You paid to have the problem fixed not to get a new problem!! Good luck
