Not doing so good with the deer hunting so thinking about taking a shot at pheasant hunting this year as well. Ive done a fair amount of research. Just wondering if it would be a smart idea to go with someone to show me the ropes or just get out and learn from mistakes. I have been learning about hunting deer on my own and from this website. Also, I do not know anybody that hunts either deer or pheasant so getting someone to show me the ropes would be a difficult task as well.

pheasant hunting is pretty simple, if you have a dog, hunt him, if not just kick around in the brush and cover a lot of ground if you kick up a bird shoot.
