He's actually a teacher now in Morris County (he's got a different last name). My cousin had him for spanish class. I met him a couple years ago at a hair salon his wife runs, and he sat and talked with me for like an hour. Real classy guy and great to talk to . Awesome!

I went to the Spectrum in Philly many times back in the 80s. They came to Vineland HS once. Rowdy Roddy Piper was my favorite. Always made me laugh.

R.I.P. Captain Lou. I grew up in Elizabeth and a ton of wrestlers would stay at the Holiday Inn on 1&9. We would hang out by the North Ave Diner and wait for them there. I got to see a ton of them wrestle at Elizabeth High School. Man, those where the days.

Rowdy Roddy was king, and the ultimate actor; "That's why I'm Roddy Piper, and you're not."

got a few more....'The Magnificent' (Don) Muraco, Adrian Adonis, Superstar Billy Graham, The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz, S.D. 'Special Delivery' Jones, Nikita Kruschev, Stan 'The Man' Staziak, Cowboy Bob Orton, Jake the Snake Roberts, Ravishing Rick Rude, Mike Rotundo, Barry Wyndham

George the Animal...Capt' Lous pet
Loved when he would eat the turnbuckles and then hide under the ring [up]

I remember those days....Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, the wild Samoans, The Valiant Brothers, chief Jay Strongbow, Sonny King, Bobo Brazil, Gorilla Monsoon, Greg the hammer Valentine, Andre the Giant....managers like The Grand Wizard, Classy Freddie Blassie....
They were great days. I got to meet Chief Jay Strongbow in the early 70's, he was a friend of my dad's friend.
What about Haystacks Calhoun! Oh yeah, and tag team champions, Dean Ho and Tony Garria and one of my favorites, Killer Kowalski. Then there was SD Jones (Special Delivery) not one ounce of muscle, nothing but fat!...what memories
