WTF??? I Missed?

most of my shots are sitting down so no bending at the waist for me...i dont get the whole bending at the waist...i hate standing and shooting out of my stand...99 percent of my kills were still sitting down[confused]

Second deer i shot at this season was only 8 yards away help pin on shoulder and released and watched my arrow fly over her back sticking into a tree so it happens

from my experiance the closer the deer the lower you aim, if she was 12ft from your tree my guess is you should have aimed at least a foot under her belly. Last year i had one the same distance and put the pin right on and it went over the back, she ran 20 yards and came back, BIG MISTAKE i knocked again drew the bow and put my pin at the top of her hoof. BINGO RAGE IN THE CAGE she didnt go 30 yards. i know is sounds silly but its the truth.

If you have the area to do so put a ladder stand in your yard and put a target 12' from your stand and practice like that. I try to simulate every stupid possible shot i can imagine (the wife laughs when she see me shooting my bow from a pooping position) but it does help when different situations arise.

That's just my opinion

alright seriously im tired of people coming on here saying they missed or hit a deer bad IT HAPPENS stop complaining about it i missed 2 this year including one at 15 yards IT HAPPENS ITS FRUSTRATING YES but i cant stand when people go on about HOW COULD I MISS AT 10 YARDS IM A GOOD SHOT!!! GET USED TO IT WELCOME TO THE BOWHUNTING WORLD!!!

no in all honesty i really wasnt i was joshin you...missed shot dont bother me ...but i think posting i wounded deer and couldnt find them shouldnt be posted...i know it happens but some things are better left unsaid;)

i have missed at this range usually it's a lapse in form. When i miss a deer at this range usually I go over em. Did you shoot over or under the deer. It's frustrating look on the bright side at least ur still not looking for her

You must haved flinched just a little bit.I had an nice 8 point at 5yrd & I flinched[wallmad][wallmad] [cry][cry].just missed. Ive shot deer at 25 to 30 yrds & didnt miss:D you go figgure. It happeens. Just regroup & practice .You will do fine everybody misses.:D
