The pond for sum ducks before work (pic)

Had loads come it, best morn i have had duck hunting!!(for numbers of ducks) had abunch pitch in but landed in center of pond, had a flock of 5 come over got 2 outa them one for me one for my buddy had to leave at 730, if I couda sat longer im sure we woulda had more!!

Why would you want to hunt Spruce Run when you have a honey hole like that. Just keep in mind the evening hunts when the birds return is usually the roost and shooting them on the roost educates them really quick and eventually they won't return.

Nice shootin, fun isn't it.It's better when a dog is worken your downed bird though then it's really fun.

As far as shooting birds off the roast that pertains to any local birds and it can and will happen.

If your shooting migrant birds won't matter. You can shoot a spot and rest it also to like you do for deer. It isn't like a locale bird won't come back because they will if your not presssuring them that much.
