Camo patterns are designed primarily to attract a customer, not hide from game.  All you need is earthtone colored clothes.  Watch your movements and hunt the wind, always have an alternate stand in case the wind is not right for any particular stand location.

There is just way to much crap out there today to suck the money out of your wallet
Bravo. Well said, and my sentiments exactly. I've been using the same one piece camo jumpsuit for 17 years during fall bow. I bought some waterproof realtree last year because it was on sale. I've killed my share of deer as close as 5 yards. I smoke my clothes and store them with twigs, pine cones, and leaves and ALWAYS hunt the wind.

Anything. Anything from the old waterfowlers's blotch camo to OD green to tiger stripe. Usually my top differs from my trousers.

My stuff is stored in a steamer trunk with pine cones, acorns, soil, evergreen branch, etc.

i use realtree ap but i like the old advantage timber its always gonna be my favorite pattern

I pretty much just use my scent blocker stuff for deer...Real-tree spring gear for turkey and normal corn stalk camo for geese....

I went out and bought so many pairs of camo..Specific sets for each part of the season. Ground camo, stand camo, this camo, that camo.

I must have 7 sets of predator camo that just sits in my shed....With that, probably 3 or 4 sets of various realtree, 2 or 3 sets of original tree bark...

They never get used....So, purchase wisely...

Keep in mind (if your desired quarry is deer) deer see in a different color spectrum than we do. All the earth tone colors will appear as various shades of gray to a deer. The main objective is finding a pattern that breaks up the human outline. ASAT, Predator, the new digital camo all do a great job of breaking up an outline, as does skyline apperition (my favorite pattern). Skyline is not available in many clothes any more. It seems skyline is the only one offering their camo now, and their clothing leaves a lot to be desired. The new mossyoak treestand is similar to skyline but not as good IMO. I like lighter more open patterns, but will wear anything and usually I have 2-4 camo patterns on at any given time. The new vertigo blends patterns well and may be worth a look.

#1. Camo pattern is relatively unimportant ... it's lack of movement that keeps you undetected. Buy whatever pattern suits your fancy. Short of a Ghillie suit, they're all about the same.

#2. Buy the garment for the quality and performance characteristics you're trying to obtain; and don't be particularly concerned about the pattern.

All sorts with no one pattern. I wish I could still fit in my blow down King of the Mountains cloths. Have to lose weight all that money wrapped up in them now its getting cold.

Lefty wear is good been wearing that alot I like it.

Dick's has insulated jumpsuits and bibs on sale this week... $50-$60

All of the patterns today are good and I'm starting to believe for treestand hunting the more open the pattern the better.
