New White Crappie State Record from Mercer Lake

My uncle sent me the link to this earlier today. The fish was caught in may and it smoked the previous record by a long shot.

Hunting isnt catch and release

Many fisherman will struggle with telling the difference between white and black crappie even if they have fished their whole lives. Here is an excellent link which shows the easiest ways to tell them apart. Based on the information in this link this is clearly a white crappie the fin placement is text book white crappie.
