About 4pm had two does come in and I piled up the second one. 40 yard shot with 3 1/2 oo buck and I dropped her where she stood. First deer of the year on the only permit shotgun day for me in 18.

Thanks guys it was a frustrating year....saw alot of deer just never presented a good shot. I did my homework and changed my spot during 6 day and saw over 40 deer 39 does and 1 small spike I passed up. So maybe the hunting gods rewarded me with this nice does for my lack luster season.
