This is kind of a weird request, so bear with me:

I'm looking for 15-20 .45 Long Colt "dummy" rounds, consisting of the bullet and brass but no primer or powder. I need these for costuming work where live ammunition will be prohibited.

Holy WOW, those are expensive. I bet they're nice, but I'm more in the market for brass and bullets someone who reloads might have lying around. Id est, if they'd be willing to put 'em together and sell 'em to me at cost. Nothing too fancy, they're just going to sit in the back of my gunbelt.

A box of real ammo would be a ton cheaper. As long as the pistol is a replica/non-firing with a blocked barrel, you shouldn't have a problem. You could always sell the ammo here when you're done.

Looks like the event has a 'no explosives/ordnance' policy, so live ammunition would be out of the question. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes peeled. :O
