I duno about you, but, I can't stand trying to have sex when people keep walking through my room wearing orange...

Hunting season aside, I think there is still some rutting activity to be seen, but, I also feel that the majority of the rutting activity has already taken place, at night.

i woke up this morning and look out the window and had a nice 8pt mounting a doe across the street...i wish i knew the people that live there...

Yes, the "secondary rut" will be in full swing.

While it doesn't rival the main rut period in duration or intensity, bucks will be seeking out the few adult does who were not bred during November's rut period, as well as the older fawns of the year who will be coming into estrous for the 1st time. This means lots of deer movement, be ready!
