(may also substitute w/venison sausage )

6oz. Angel hair pasta
2 tsp. Olive oil
1 onion finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 lb. italian sausage (Wild boar or Venison)casing removed
2 Green Bell peppers
3/4 cup water
1/2lb button or cremini mushrooms sliced
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp italian seasoning
28oz can crushed tomatoes (Or crush your own)
1 cup Torn Basil leaves
Cooking Spray
1/2 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese



1.Make pasta according to directions, meanwhile......


2.Heat olive oil in skillet over med-high heat. Add onion cook until soft, add in garlic & cook for a few more min. Add sausage & cook until brown. Stir in peppers,mushrooms,seasoned salt & italian seasoning..cook untill vegetables are soft. Add the tomatoes , water & basil , bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 min untill sauce thickens.

3.Preheat oven to 375. Spray 2qt casserole dish with non stick spray.

4.Add pasta to skillet and toss w/ sauce.

5.Spoon half the mixture into casserole and add half the cheese. Spoon in remaining pasta & top w/rest of cheese. Cover w/ foil and bake for 20 min.
