I applied to York county as well I sent the app in 10 am this morn and I got the call at 3pm that it was approved and ready for pickup. Unreal nice to deal with a free state. It was $25 and was all done online had to attach a copy of my NJ ccw and my dl. Gonna take the hike this coming week because like tdaly said its worth it. It's good for 5 years
WHO WILL BE APPLYING FOR A CCW IN NJ?
Wondering who will apply now that SCOTUS has ruled in our favor. I know it will take a while to get things ironed out in NJ but once everything is in place and the classes and qualifications are met who will be applying. I say better have it and not need it. I will apply as soon as things are in place. NJ won't surrender on this and will prob pass some regs to get around it so we might have to wait a little longer than most. I will get the classes and qualification out of the way though.

considering waiting to apply til later, so I can pick up my permit when I'm already there for dove season

I have NJ and PA now . amazing that PA can approve in 8 hours and NJ took six months.
I know isn't it crazy mine took 5 hours. Dem states just suck

Normscuze, I thought that the process had changed local PD's approve now?
I think Ocean is the worst county to be in for the ccw licenses. Been a nightmare for everyone I know including me. Make sure you have the use of force training certificate. The judge kicked mine back because of it. I did it and I emailed the cert right to him I got it a week later.
