Hey guys,

I'm looking for a public piece of property where I can setup for geese. I'd prefer to setup on a field if possible.

So, where can I go within an hour or so of my house? I live in Edison.

Thanks,
David

Early goose season on WMA around here is pretty bad. The reason being nothing is cut.The few WMA that do have crops planted will not be cut before small game. Then you have to deal with those guys. Early season you have to go private land or stay on the water.
I'm getting worried I have not been seeing many geese moving around here.

BobR,

I was looking at going with my brother-in-law who lives out of state. Plus, I've gone before with friends and had a great time.

Thanks,
David

I see you are down in middlesex county. You should have good fields (beans & hay) around you. Try knockin on a few doors. Even if there's a gun club the owners sometimes let you hunt the open fields.
