know the feeling, a frind of mine now gone, had a savage 303 for sale , great condition. I got it for next to nothing and some ammo. Never needed, used or fired it. They stopped making shells fr it but I found a box in sussex. But I still love it. and wouldn't part with it. Someday I'll shoot it , just once at a nice buck.
