didnt know they made cameras with remotes!
$45 for the remote. I keep a small tripod in my pack, set the camera on it and punch the remote. No fuss, don't have to run back into position to beat the self timer. Great for when you're hunting alone.

I use all Canon gear as most shops have the equipment, gear and add-ons. I freelance and sell to several different buyers from magazines and newspapers, to manufactures and outdoorsmen. My basic equipment:

(2) 35 mm SLR Canon elan 7 bodys
(1) Digital EOS Rebel XT
(1) Elura digital mini/DV
(1) GL2 8mm
Several lenses from 18mm macro to 400mm tele-zoom
I use 1.4 and 2.0 converters for really far shots.

I'm scheduling a couple of free photo shoots in February and March. These photo shoots will be of hunting dogs in the field. If you have a bird dog or retriever, and would like to have some excellent photos for your wall, please feel free to contact me regarding the times and places.

I also, use two cheap 35 mm game cams and one digital cuddle back. I have got a lot of trail cam pics from state lands. Yes, there are some real bruisers out there.

Coolest picture I ever shot, was a buck with a wolf over it. I double exposed it. Which means shot the film, rewound and shot over the photo again. Like placing two transparencies over each other. Whoops!! got to get ready for deer hunt.

Kodak Easyshare 4900; 4 Meg. about 3 years old, and good sharp pix.

The higher the meg, the sharper the resolution. Beyond that the other features just make taking the picture easier.
