The Federal Premium 165's are a great round. It's a good in between weight from the 150-180 grn bullets.

Test different grain and manufacture in your gun

Great advice, but I would still start with the 165's, especially if you are hunting deer sized animals. Heavier for larger animals.

That's why I reload, try different brands of bullets, different loads etc. Gotta find what works for you and your gun.[up]
