Over the weekend I went fishing with my son on the Delaware River off of Old Mine Road. We were just using night crawlers, and didn't end up catching anything (we were only there for about an hour). However, at one point, my line started to go upstream and the rod tip lightly bounced a couple of time, then stopped. When I picked up the pole, I immediately noticed that the line felt "light". When I reeled it in, the line was broke. I know there are many different kinds of fish in the Delaware, but my curiosity is wondering what type of fish could have done this? There was not any large amount of tension on the line, so my guess is that it was bit through...any ideas? Thanks!
