They are attempting to raise funds for the animals affected by Katrina. The pictures are heart wrenching, and are intended to move you. My wife was inches from writing a check when I stopped her. What is the guarantee that these funds raised will go " exclusively " to these poor animals ?
Let us not forget that this society is THE # 1 MOST POWERFUL GROUP THAT IS CAMPAIGNING AGAINST HUNTING AND FIREARMS RIGHTS. We all talk about PETA, but the HSUS is currently our biggest adversary. As far as ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUPS go, they are the current big boys on the block.
I would love to help these animals in distress, but let us not hastily help fund a group that truly HATES us as hunters and sportsmen.

HSUS is trying to get States to raise the minimum hunting age to 18.

Their new campaign is to keep 'future hunters' from hunting.

HSUS is the #1 anti hunting organization in the world. They are NOT your local animal shelter. Any money to them is money that will stop all hunting. Period.
