Bowhunter Action Request
Sunday Bowhunting
A3736 and S2475, both of which would authorize Sunday Bowhunting for deer on private property and State Wildlife Management Areas, are currently pending in the Assembly and the Senate.
A3736 was passed out of committee on February 14th with a 4-0 vote and currently waits for the Assembly Speaker to consider it for its’ third reading. Please contact the Assembly Speaker, Albio Sires, at 201-854-0900 and tell him you support A3736, also contact your two local Assemblypersons and ask that they support A3736.
S2475 is scheduled to be introduced in the Senate by Senator Stephen Sweeney, and is identical to A3736. Please contact Senator Sweeney at (854) 455 - 1011 and thank him for sponsoring this legislation. Also, and just as important, please contact your State Senator and ask them to support this legislation once posted for a vote.
