does anyone turkey hunt on private land in sussex county? and does anyone know a land owner that would allow my father and i hunt for turkey on their property?
Knock on doors and check or flag down a farmer. If you know there are turkeys in the area you don't have to limit yourself to sussex county. A lot of birds in passaic, morris, and hunterdon counties.
yea but im goin campin this spring in swartswood and i dont wanna travel out of that county because it would defeat the purpose of camping there. weve tried asking this guy in whittingham who owns this factory and has alot of property. he has turned everyone who has asked him.
Mack, try White Lake WMA. A lot of turkeys and I don't believe there is a lot of pressure. They have corn fields on the property along with hardwoods. I have run into a lot of them.
