Think turkey chokes are a waste of money? At the range today...using my 2 3/4 12 gauge... number 6 turkey shot was the best pattern at 25 yards.

I wish I could get it out to 30 yards... heck even up to number 5s.

Thats why people use turkey choke,so that they can get it out to 30 yards. I have an Extra full that I'm going to try to see if that gets me out there a little more

It definately helps to try different loads and chokes...Personally,I have alot of confidence in my setups.I'm putting 178 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards.I have another gun that puts over 250 at that same distance.This spells,"DEAD GOBBLER".
