I am thinking about purchasing a climber stand from cabelas. I know everyone keeps stating to buy the summit viper x5 . Cabelas has sale prices on the summit mega bucks python climber or just the cabelas climber stand. What are your opinions on different stands and what should I look for when deciding what is garbage and what is not. Also If anyone knows any good buys for climbers please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Yea , I got it last year

I have last year's Summit,the Viper X-4.I believe,it is the same stand as the X-5.Summit changes the model as the year changes.Hence,the X-5 is a 2005 model.Mine came with a footrest,I'm not sure if this year's model has one on it or not.

Summit makes a great climbing stand,I highly recomend it! [up]

Climbers are great for moving around... trying different spots... etc.

Plus... all of the different spots that I've been trying out during fall bow (no permit required)... it rocks! Check that... you guys rock for inviting me!
