We went out for a mid day hunt today. I spotted a deer about 90 yards away in a draw walking slowly through some thick stuff I couldnt get a mz shot through. We were able to parallel him and get way out in front where the woods clear up a bit for a shot. He started coming into that area and turned away from us. I told the boys to stay quiet and right behind me for some more stalking. A good 15-20 minutes later we found ourselves about 75 yards from him with a enough room to squeeze a bullet through. I gave them the signal to cover their ears and let a 300 gr bullet loose from my Encore. We walked over and found the prize had fallen right down
