Attention college students who are majoring in wildlife management:

New Jersey DEP Division of Fish & Wildlife and the New Jersey Chapter
of the Wildlife Society announce the Russell A. Cookingham Scholarship.

If you have completed at least one half of the degree requirements for
Wildlife/Fisheries or Conservation Education/Communications major, you
may be eligible for this $1000.00 scholarship. (Conservation
Education/Communication majors must have at least 15 credits in the
biological sciences to be eligible).

This scholarship is intended to assist qualified students in the
wildlife/fisheries or conservation education/communication field with
college and related expenses. The New Jersey DEP Division of Fish &
Wildlife and the New Jersey Chapter of the Wildlife Society are
partnering in the selection and award of the scholarships.

You must reside permanently in New Jersey. New Jersey residents
attending school out-of-state are eligible. To apply, send an official
transcript, 2 letters of recommendation, your resume and a cover letter
explaining why you should be considered for this scholarship. One
$1000.00 award will be made during 2006.
