Does anybody have direct tv or the dish network with the The Outdoor Channel in their package? I was thinking of purchasing the direct tv just for the The Outdoor Channel. Let me know what you think about direct or the dish and what package you guys have. Thanks.

I have Direct tv...I have the fully loaded package. I don't know what it's called but I get a boat load of channels... There are a couple of outdoor channels and a ton of sport channels that have outdoor stuff on them from time to time. There really isn't any time I can't click on the tv and find some hunting or fishing...[up]

Hoyt, I like the outdoor channel alot more that OLN.Its all I watch besides football and the ocassion movie/show on HBO or showtime.

I had the Direct TV but had problems, went back to cable and my cable service carries both the OUTDOOR CHANNEL & OLN. I never watch OLN, they suck

I have both OLN and the Outdoor Channel. Each one has shows that I like. You can order 1 channel by itself for $3. Personally, it's definitely worth it.

I also have Direct TV and have both OLN and The Outdoor Channel. I pay extra for one of them not in my original package.
Both channels have some good programs on from time to time.
I particularly like the Beretta hunting series.

GET IT!!! The outdoor chanel is awesome. Well worth the 3.00. Tuesday nights are awesome!!!
