as far as im concerned the RICH hire people therfore you get jobs ...people get paychecks and then spend money the rich should get a tax break...the elitist liberal socialist pigs have hurt this economy more than bush ever could...the economy took a turn for the worst when we got a mostly democratic congress thats the FACTS my friendThe rich have gotten richer under the Bush Admin.
[confused] There you go again, ignoring reality. That is not what happened after 8 years of the Bush Admin. The exact opposite happened. Just because you keep on saying it, it doesn't make it real. There was a post on here asking how many people are out of work. I was amazed at how many people are unemployed or underemployed. Why do people keep on ignoring the fact that trickle down economics DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. Capitalism has been replaced with GREED. Greed does not equate to trickling down. Captitalism can work, but not with the level of greed that now exists. The average worker continues to suffer.as far as im concerned the RICH hire people therfore you get jobs
NUGENT: Ultimately, those who rail against capitalism are people who claim they need to be babysat, bailed out and subsidized. They are either uneducated, ignorant, unskilled, scared.......Archer36: Where has Nugent been? The rich have gotten richer under the Bush Admin. with the biggest tax cuts ever and we now have the highest unemployment and worst economy since the depression. Nugent should stop using decades old theories on trickle down economics because they don't work anymore. American ingenuity has negated economic principles that worked a hundred years ago. He should stick to hunting behind high fences because that's what he knows best.
You mean like under Carter??I was amazed at how many people are unemployed or underemployed.
Can you name a single top 1% earner that does not employ someone?Capitalism has been replaced with GREED. Greed does not equate to trickling down. Captitalism can work, but not with the level of greed that now exists. The average worker continues to suffer.
You sound just like every liberal ranting and crying on TV. Do you propose any well though out solutions or ideas?....or do you just cry about the status of our economy?Capitalism has been replaced with GREED. Greed does not equate to trickling down. Captitalism can work, but not with the level of greed that now exists. The average worker continues to suffer.
Forget the top 1%, think about the wealthier people in just your circle of friends and family....Ill venture to bet that they have multiple families depending on the sucess of their businesses. Can you name a single top 1% earner that does not employ someone?
This is also why when the people have had it with that system more times than not they must shoot their way out of it because the loss of the ballet box is one of the first things to go.Anyone with any economic sense of reality knows that socialism is a brain dead system that enslaves people instead of freeing them."
Holy cow! You remembered my name. Called me a moron and ridiculous, to boot. And I didn't even post anything in this thread.230gHP said:The reason I get involved with these political threads is to get people like Archer36, 84jennings, Izema, Seedog et. al. to write their moronic point ideas so everyone can see how ridiculous they are.
Hey even a broken watch is right twice a day so there's your day in the sun.[rofl][rofl][rofl]I corrected the first few points of the letter that JakesBeard posted, pointing out more internet stupid bullshit. (No one said my corrections were wrong)
Hey, I'll take what I can get. It seems like I'm getting more and more cobwebs, and less and less gray matter, in the ol noggin. [drinking][eek]Hey even a broken watch is right twice a day so there's your day in the sun.
[hihi][hihi]Bernie MadoffCan you name a single top 1% earner that does not employ someone?
And, there are so many people at the bottom who pay nothing. Nothing. And, with Earned Income Credit on their 1040, *we* pay their Social Security and Medicare tax.Anyone who thinks the "rich" dont pay their fair share has to look and see where the tax dollars are coming from...and where the tax dollars are not coming from.
Off the top of my head I think the top 15% pay 90% of the taxes.
