I’ve done some traveling across North America and Africa and would be happy to discuss my travels with anyone that would be interested. I’d also like to learn about the travel and experience of other hunters too.

I am an author of a few hunting books that cover topics like: how we can help ensure the future of hunting in the 21st century, hunting's origins, hunting ethics, fair chase, wildlife management, conservation practices, our ecosystem and how it relates to quality habitat, the effects of political pressures on hunting, and a look at the anti-hunting and eco-terrorist agendas. I also have had my family to Africa on safari with me (my wife, teenage son, 12 year-old daughter, and “grand ma” too.)

My work has been reviewed by the likes of American Hunter magazine(NRA), African Hunter magazine, Tracker Outdoors, Two River Times...

I look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

Do you hunt in Jersey at all?

Actually the lion was in my "Friends & Trophies" room. My friend Dean Grommet harvested that cat. He waited for almost 5 years before getting that opportunity. He was in South Africa (by Kruger) and the lion hunt was turning up nothing when his p.h. got a call from a friend in the country of Namibia saying there was a cat causing a problem. They hopped a flight and the rest is history. When I win the lottery I'll go for lion. This summer I'm going to Zimbabwe for cape buffalo.

Oh, sure I hunt NJ. Mostly duck hunting in a number of places along the eastern seaboard. NJ has some good duck hunting areas, including sea ducks in the ocean. I did some deer hunting in Monmouth county too. I still enjoy going to PA though for black bear. There's only about a 3% chance of bagging one - but it's beautiful country and a ruggedly fun time.
