Well ladies and gentleman its time to start planning for our Get together/After party after the Striper-a-thon at Jake-a-bobs.

Every year after our striperathons we have an after party at Jakeabobs in Union Beach. Its right on the water and offers a great view of the bay and NYC. The food is great and the beer is cold and its also conveniently located 5 minutes from the Keyport boat ramp where the weigh in will take place.

Its nothing fancy. I usually have them block off a certain amount of tables for us depending on how many people we have attending and just order from the menus. They have great burgers and COLD beer.

I spoke with the owner tonight, if the weather is nice we will have picnic tables blocked off outside at their beautfiul tiki bar. If the weather is bad she will block off tables inside for us. It will be a great time, so lets get signed up! Less then a month away.

The restaurant is right on the raritan bay. Its 5 min from the Keyport Boat Ramp which is where the weigh-in is at.

Guys this is what it all about come meet up w/ some of njh's best members. This event has been going on for a couple years and grows bigger every year. We have such a great time every year here and the service is great. Cold beer and lots of laughs. We will even get to see lou's mom drag him out of the bar by his ear just like every year in the past. You can not beat the burgers and the prices are great. If you are not in the contest and just want to meet some members feel free to sign up. Word of warning you will need thick skin at this funtion and a good sense of humor.
