Incidents in the latest state report included a bear knocking a Vernon resident to the ground on June 26 and stealing his sandwich, and bears breaking into homes in Independence, Vernon and Branchville. The state also reported that a bear chased two children into their home in Montague on July 3.

And the bear people are OK with this? I would love to hear their explanation.

I love how the bear stole the guys sandwhich. Why isn't it mentioned that the bear also caused severe bruising to the guy? Oh yeah, that would make it an attack and not just an "incident".
