Hello all,

My son wants to go catch a Bass or anything while he is on spring break and in between Lacrosse practise. We have only lived here a little less then two years and I havent taken him fishing while we have been here. (We fished almost every weekend in Alaska) We live in Barnegat and it's time to blow the dust off of the rods. Anyone have a couple of public places a guy could take his son to catch a fish without having to drive to North Jersey? Not looking for anyones special spot but would appreciate a a little help

there are a few lakes in forked river, the waretown lake and ocean acres lake just a few right near you

You can google map your area and you can see all the lakes in your area.


Largemouth or stripers?

Looking for some Largemouth, smallies, or what ever. Yea, Alaska to Jersey was a shock [eek] but it has worn off. I'll try a little more research with my maps and just go and give a try.
