I don't know what kind of tree it is, it looks like a small pine tree to be honest. I know the rub is fresh because I cross that trail everytime I put corn out and have never seen that tree marked like that.Dennis if you can see indentations from the tine's in the tree , then it's a rub..In the woods I hunt most all rubs are made on small oak's and cedar tree's..
You know where the property is, and you're always welcome there Tommy. Just let me know before you go out so I can let my in-laws know not to be spooked by a new truck entering the woods.Maybe I should hunt next to it ..I'll let you kno what's doing that....
Its tearing up by molasses corn. Hopefully I'll get him next weekend. I need to win the lottery so I can get out more.looks like a good rub, hopefully you'll get a crack at that buck before it starts tearing up the rest of the woods!
I know the feeling, wish I could get half as much as some of these guys! I'm sure you'll get your chance at that buck.Good luck and keep us posted...I need to win the lottery so I can get out more.
Anytime, I only get to hunt on saturdays but your welcome to come down and check the area out.I would have to see it in Person to tell if it was. When can we see it??
