Here in NH snow with no end in site. Might have to do preseason scouting with snowshoes in July! Stepped into the front yard to find the 4yo's sled that he left out prior to this past Tuesdays storm. Stepped in and sunk to over my knees. and it only got deeper as I went further away from the house. Stopped just below the crotch of the pants at it's deepest. Started snowing here about 1 hr ago and we are supposed to get another foot before it is over Sat afternoon. Lost power for almost 20 hrs Tuesday into Wed. Bringing in the wood and filling the jugs!

Cant be much longer, it will all be over soon.

We can pack the shovels away, try to stand up straight again after all the shoveling, and make the last packet of hot cocoa.

NHbuck, where abouts in NH are you? I have family in Monroe, and Littleton.

Littleton is about 2 hrs Northwest of us. I am over in the southeast area in Raymond. ABout 1/2 way between Manchester and Portsmouth, 1hr north of boston.

I've been up to NH twice... I love it... I'm thinking about relocating up that way. I spent some time camping in the white moutain region... it's georgous in winter. We camped at a place up north (coleman campground I think it was) and had to dig through three feet of snow to pitch out tent... yeah, I know, I'm nuts.

I'm looking to move out!!! Came up here 22yrs ago and it was affordable. Now it is out of sight. Not much in the way of land deals anymore. We are now what the Wayne NJ area is to NYC. I call my area Boston North.

I was looking at property values up there... the values are half of what they are in NJ. But I've heard the same thing, it's only getting more expensive.

Bought our camp in 2000. 2ac with a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin had ***** as tenants since no obne had been there in years. Paid 15k. Put in about 10k in materials and another 10k in sweat and it will go for over 100K now. Bought my house in 99 a 19 year old cape with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath on a bit under 2 acres. Put about 35 into modernizing it. Had it appraised for 250.
