whats guys im interested in your slug recommendations .right now im shooting 23/4 lightfields out of my Remington 11/87 but I think im looking to make I change .im interested in what you guys are shooting thanks

12ga or 20ga? I have the 1187 in both 12ga and 20ga, Lightfields 2-3/4" in the 12ga shot excellent, but after 100yds they dropped, I now use the Remington Accutips in 2-3/4" with better results over 100yds, but within 100 yds they shot very similar. No need to shoot 3" slugs in a 12ga. Now the 20ga. I like the 3" over the 2-3/4", and I also use the Remington Accutips as well. Sight in to be 2.5"-3" high at 50 yrds

light fields shoot fine out of my 1187 . my savage 220 like rem 3 inch acu tips.......

Why the change? Lightfield slugs are very good.

If you are looking to get a better downrange trajectory that Accutips or SST's are a good choice. If not then no need to change.
