I stopped by Simon Peter Sport Shop today because they had a sign up for a big bass contest. Well it runs from 6-16 to 7-5 and it is for the largest bass entered per contestant. There are 3 prizes in the form of gift certificates to the shop. $10 dollar entry fee and the deadline is 6 pm Monday the 15th. Just figured I would let everyone know.

Will they take a pic with the lengh and Girth or fish needs to be present?

Fish needs to be braught there ALIVE. They take the lenght and weight. I asked and a 4.62 pounder won last year and 3.84 won the year before. If you know where a 20 inch bass or better is lurking, and can get it there ALIVE, you got a good chance of winning.

I cant believe the northern guys arent all over this. They said there are only about 10-12 guys that sign up for this every year.[up]

Yep it's easy money. Same thing happens every year for the turkey contest and the deer contest.

Why do the same guys win every year? I never did any of their contests.
