26 would work but the 28 inch barrel will hold a better pattern
Not necessarily.26 would work but the 28 inch barrel will hold a better pattern
BULL!!!!!!26 would work but the 28 inch barrel will hold a better pattern
Not true. There is no advantage to a longer barrel ballistically. The advantage of a long/heavier barrel is smoothness of the swing. A short barrel, such as those on Turkey or Rifled barrels are suitable for shooting at stationary targets. Longer barrels, such as those on Waterfowl guns, are for longer sighting planes and a smooth swing. The 26" barrel is perfect for small game. Short enough to get through tangles and long enough for open shots.26 would work but the 28 inch barrel will hold a better pattern
That is correct. Couldnt have said it better myself. The ballistic diference between 26 and 28 inch barrels is insignificant.
Patterns are determined by choke not barrel length.
Longer barrels give you more site radius, better for longer shots.
Shorter barrels swing faster.(good and bad)
If and when you pattern your gun, pattern high vs low velocity rounds and be amazed. Hint! Why do trap and skeet loads patter so nice?
