Just got home I need to finish a kitchen then I'll be out by 4 for a night post. Me and the child saw 8 doe each. he missed 2 times at the same doe, later I missed a doe. My rust is gone the next one won't be so lucky

Well it started off Dark...lol.... I was in my stand and ready at 4:45am. Around 5am or so I heard a racoon making a racket, then deer started to move around. A nice 6 pointer still in velvet was at my bait pile eating for about 1/2hr when DOE's started to move in. I had a nice DOE and some fawns eating at 6:35am, as soon as the Doe moved I got ready and loosed a 550gr Arrow w/ Magnus II 125gr BH. Right behind the left shoulder double lunger. She ran about 50yards where she Died.

The pic didn't come out to good...(sorry), But the next pic shows the NJ TAG... Broken Arrow 1 dead deer down.

As you heard my hyperactive gentlemen missed theirs. In too big of a hurry to get this season started I think. Maybe they will have better luck this afternoon, after they have had a chance to work and calm down.

Saw 6 this morning..no shots though. @ other guys on the farm each got a doe, and my cousin missed a doe thyis morning as well.

maybe better luck tonight...I'll be heading out around 4pm.

Saw 6 total this morning, 3 fawns, 3 shooter doe. Never got close enough to give me a shot. Be back out at 3:00 pm

I saw three does this morning and 2 left[up].
It was a ten yard shot she ran about 60 yds i only had my throw away camra on me i wanted to get her to the butcher right away so as soon as i get them back i will post the pics probly mon or tues.
I will be trying for a buck this afternoon.

Saw 11 does and one small buck with dryed velvet hanging of his antlers. Nothing was close enough for a shot. I will be out this afternoon around 4-4:30 at a different spot that has a corn pile. Brown should go down! good luck everyone[up]

Saw 6 Does all out of range..kept saying that my stand needs to be 50 yards over..then a Mama and her babys come out of the thickets moving at a pretty good pace..I stop them with a hoot and bingo.. double lung at 15 yards..just got back from butchering..First time deer on opening day..

I saw all three of these guys this morning BUT NO DOES!!! the big one's velvet was almost all off...he looked up in my direction and the velvet was hanging from the base of his right antler...it looked like a calender shot...
