I just sent out my application for my U.B.N.J Membership. How long does it take to get the Magazines and membership information and Insurance policy?

You should see something in two to three weeks. You may get your magazine before anything else. That's what happened to me.

I don't ever recall getting an insurance policy,when I asked about insurance I was told that they cover whatever your insurance didn't take care of,I don't think they cover you completely,does anyone know how the insurance works?

Hkdonfishin, congrats on becoming a member! UBNJ does more for bowhunting than anyone else in the state.

DBuck, I believe you are only covered under the UBNJ insurance policy when you are participating in a UBNJ sanctioned hunt, like Mountain Lakes or Princeton.

I know NJ federation of sportsmen gives you a policy form in your name to show to land owners. I heard UBNJ does the same thing. Makes getting permission allot easier.

At this time the UBNJ insurance is only valid if participating in a UBNJ run hunt or shoot.
