I have a Winchester 1300 pump with a scoped mounted on a Sqaure B bracket. The reason for the bracket is because the gun came with a bird barrel and I pheasant hunt. However, I now use a 20 ga shotgun and have aquired a Model 12 to use.
My question is this. The receiver is tapped. Should I stick with the Square B or have the scope directly mounted to the receiver?
