Went to sight in the HR 20g today. It was driving tacks after 20 minutes! The range was packed, so I picked up and left. When I got home the scope caps were in my pocket so I went to put them back on and as the top cap was almost tight, it turned the adjustment knob.[wallmad] anyone have this happen? I'm assuming it's because the adjustment was backed out to far? Well after 2 hours of driving and ammo, guess it was a loss
I never had it happen but that sucks! sounds like you will need to crank it up a few notches and shoot a few. I know how you feel NJ is so gun friendly that it is a chore to sight in guns. I travel and hour each way wait to set up target (next 15 minutes or so) then shoot then wait to take down target. then an hour home! 3 hours for 5 shots with slug gun!
In PA I opened the garage door shot a couple rounds at my backstop and was ready in 10 minutes!
Sounds like there is a mechanical issue with that scope if the cap can touch the adjustment knob. Sucks to burn all that time getting ready just to start over! hope you don't need a scope now also.
Just was not ment to be! Some days are like that man ya never know maybe god sent u a sighn for something lol don't use the gun opening day! Now its bad luck
