Hunted this afternoon and saw very little action. 3 other boats in the water all had same luck. Just a theory, but is it possible that with all this rain the ducks are more spread out in all the flooded areas rather than being congregated in the marsh??

We were out in sussex county. Seen 50-75 woodies & teal but only maybe 20 puddle ducks. Been seeing all the puddle ducks sitting on the lakes & ponds around here. It's like they are avoiding any kind of moving water. Wish some fields were cut I would be field hunting ducks with all this flooding.
How's that new blind working?

DOWN MY WAY MOST DUCKS WOULD LIKE TO SIT IN FRESH WATER THAN SALT WATER .WOODIES MALLARDS. MOST FLOODED AREAS HAVE MORE FOOD AVAILABLE AND COVER,

Ditto that BobR, every pond I p [no swearing please] in Sussex Co has at least a couple of dozen puddle ducks on it. Wonder if Franklin Township would let me set up on Franklin Lake. Probably not.
