just had a 5 pointer still in velvet and 3 fawns. Mom stayed out on the back lawn. Property owner put out a feed block. they arehammering it now. guess they feel safe out in the middle of the lawn.

Cool crisp morning with a great sunrise, but i wasn't out. Maybe Wednesday morning and might try Black River along some fields with acorns nearby.

Wow, whatever happened to just plain old fashioned hunting and scouting. To each their own, but when I get in the woods to hunt/scout I want to get as far away from technology as possible, that goes for my gear also. I do carry a plain old cell-phone and flashlight for safety reasons.
