[Ducks&Bucks]

Well I was chopping wood and the handle cracked.
It is a fiberglass handle and am unsure of how to get the axe head off due to it being epoxied on.
I have a wood handle sitting around and would like to put the head on it.
Any ideas ?

Drill it out with a boring bit.

Take a drill to it and wear safety Google and a respirator or face mask

I just did this over the weekend. I put the head in my vice on my work bench and beat the shit out with a brick chisel and a 3lb mini sledge. Took about 4-5 good smacks. clean axe head. I replaced it with a wooden handle as well.

First I tried beating it out but it wasn't going anywhere so I had to drill it out now I have a nice wood handle on it good to go...thanks for the tips
